Camera Revenue NSW is unofficial. It focuses on aggregate speed and red-light camera penalty data, and intentionally avoids personal records, plates, names, private endpoints and enforcement advice.
TOTAL_NUMBER is the aggregate number of penalty notices issued for a grouped offence/month/location/category row.
TOTAL_VALUE is the aggregate face value of those notices. It is not proof of money collected by government, even when the product calls it camera revenue for readability.
Location confidence marks whether a record was matched to an official TfNSW camera coordinate, approximately geocoded, or kept as text-only.
Geocoded rows are approximate OpenStreetMap/Nominatim matches for camera-like penalty locations that did not appear in the official camera CSV. They are useful for map context, not proof of exact camera hardware placement.
The public product is camera-first. Other fine and crime datasets may exist in the project, but they are not mixed into the camera rankings or map.
Official public files provide camera coordinates and aggregate penalty totals. They do not provide live camera photos or live enforcement feeds.
The site is not legal advice, safety advice, current enforcement advice, or a guarantee of present conditions.
